PBS children's programs earn high ratings with both children and their parents and caregivers and underwriters receive 10 spots per week, making this an ideal place to reach prospective customers for children's products such as clothing, toys, health care, private schools, and family activities.
Sponsorship of Local Productions
Local productions are the core of AETN's service to Arkansans. They also provide unique opportunities for businesses and organizations to reach thousands of prospective customers or to send an important message about your own mission.
Weekly productions like Arkansas Week , Arkansas Outdoors , and Talkin' Outdoors at the Corner Café have earned a regular place in the homes of Arkansans who depend on these programs for the most current information about public affairs, sports and recreation in the natural state and fishing and hunting. AETN Presents , a new series of performances, readings, and cultural events from around the state, is well on its way to achieving that “part of the family” status. Currently broadcast monthly, AETN Presents has the potential to become another “flagship” for the network, like Arkansas Week , and a great standard bearer for Arkansas arts and culture.
Special documentaries, short series, and public affairs programs, ranging from multiple Emmy-winners like Precious Memories: Our Vanishing Rural Churches to timely issue-driven programs on education, health, and government attract viewers in search of relevant, helpful information and inform the statewide dialogue on these subjects.
Local broadcast sponsorship opportunities exist for almost all of our local productions. The spots and the requirements are the same, and pricing varies depending largely upon the number of broadcasts of a particular program. It is also possible to sponsor a group of local programs, such as outdoors programming or educational programming, in order to establish a special relationship to those issues and those viewers.
Production sponsorship opportunities are also available. Production sponsor provide support for the actual creation of the program. These sponsors also receive sponsorship spots, or credits, but they also have the opportunity to participate in program premiere events, outreach, and generally in the “life” of the program.
Long-time sponsors of local productions include the Arkansas Hospital Association, the Arkansas Timber Producers Association Pro-Loggers Educational Program, and the Arkansas State Employees Association. Your business, organization, or group can join this distinguished family by contacting Bob Pest today. Sponsoring local productions is a unique opportunity and we will create a custom proposal once we understand your goals and objectives.
